5 Months- LDM

On December 13th, Lila turned 5 months old.  She is such a smiley baby and loves to show off her personality. We are so in love with the newest addition to our family.

At 5 months, Lila.....
- is wearing 3-6 months clothes and jammies.

- is wearing a size 2 diaper.

- takes a 6oz bottle ~ every 3 hours during the day.  She has started waking up again once per night to eat as well.  I usually give her a 4oz bottle in the middle of the night sometime between 2:30-4am.  We still haven't started any solids, but I am looking forward to that next month.
- had a cold with a nasty cough for several weeks....the joys of going to school and the changing weather.
-Her hair is starting to grow back in and has lightened up a ton since she was born.  I have a feeling she is going to end up being a blonde.
- has started belly laughing (esp when you kiss her neck) and is smiling and talking all the time.
- has really become interested in toys and playing.
- always wants to be where the action is.  She hates to be left alone.
- really loves her bouncer.  She will stay in there and jump for 20 minutes sometimes.  She likes it sooo much more than Addie ever did.
- has started crying a few real tears.  It's so sad.
- is still sleeping in our room....I said I was going to transition her to the crib sooner than i did with Addie, but clearly that is not going to happen.  I just like having my babies close by at night.
- took her first road trip this month.....to Harlingen for Thanksgiving.  We drove at night both ways, and she slept like an angel the entire way.
- is still pretty addicted to her paci.  We don't leave home without it.
- does great being on the run and keeps up with our busy schedule and being dragged around.
-is in LOVE with her big sister.  Addie invades Lila's personal space constantly, and Lila just gives her the biggest smiles.  I hope these two will always have a super close relationship.

Happy 5 month birthday baby girl!! Mommy and daddy love you so very much!
