Lunch with the Great Grands

Jason's grandparents has not seen Addison since right after she was born, so Sunday after church we met them for lunch at Cleburn's Cafeteria.  The food was really yummy, and it was great to catch up with Grandpa George and Grandma O.  I should have taken the pics while Ad still had on her cute bow....oh well.  Here are a few we snapped at lunch of Addie with her great grandparents.

Picture Dump

I had a bunch of pictures on my phone that I want to have on the blog for our family "scrapbook" so this post will serve as a dumping ground for those.

Ready for school

Already smarter than a teasip...daddy is so proud

Addie hanging out with her friend Kinley.  Kinley looks like she might have something to say about Ad's shirt.

A rare pic with mom

Precious in the overalls her Nana bought her.

Tummy time

Off to the mall in my shoe dress

We put Addison's jumperoo together this weekend, and she LOVES it.

Just chillin in my bathrobe

Don't mind my appearance, but I could just eat her up after a bath.

3 Months

\

Not quite sure about having her picture taken

Stone-facin' me

On November 2nd, Addison turned 3 months old which is so hard to believe.  She is really starting to develop a personality and is learning new things every day.

At 3 months, Addison.....
- weighs about 14lbs
- is wearing mostly 0-3 months clothes and jammies and just moved up to a size 2 diaper.
- is nursing every 2-3 hours during the day (when she is with me) and takes 4 4oz bottles during the day when she is at school.  She is sleeping anywhere from 6-8 hours at night.
-is losing her hair.  Poor baby has huge bald spots on both sides of her head and a big U in the back.  Her daddy says she has a cul de sac.  haha
- is smiling and cooing all the time and even almost laughs sometimes.
- rolled over from her tummy to her back on October 8th just after she turned 2 months.  She did it several times over a week or two period but has now decided she doesn't want to do it anymore.  I haven't seen her roll over in a few weeks.
-LOVES to sit and stand.  I hold her hands when she is laying on her back and she can pull herself all the way up to standing.  She gets SOOOO proud of herself and gives huge smiles once she is up.
- has gone back to sleeping in her rock and play in our room.
- still LOVES her bath. We still bathe her on a sponge on top of the counter.
- started school and is adapting really well.  Her teachers say she is doing great and does really well at playing on the mat.  She also loves her buggy rides at school and is always awake and taking in the scenery.
-really loves the tv.  I know that probably isn't the best for her, but when you need a few minutes to get something done it works.  She will sit there ZONED in and just be happy as a clam.  It reminds me of her Uncle Cale when he was a little boy.  :)

Happy 3 month birthday baby girl!! We are loving this stage and watching you learn and grow every day.

Happy Halloween

First Day of School 2012

Addison started school last week and will be in the Kittens class this year.  Jason went with me to drop her off on her first day.  She did great, but it was a tough morning for mom and dad.  We really love her school though, and her teachers say she is doing great.  She is eating, napping and playing well at school so I would say the transition has been pretty smooth.  I am just working 4 days a week right now so it was great to have a long weekend with my girl.  I can't wait to see how much she has learned and changed by the end of the school year.  So glad you had a great first day of school Ad.  We love you baby girl!

Mimi and Papaw Visit

My parents are making it a goal to see Addie at least once a month so the last weekend in October they flew up to visit.  We picked them up at the airport Friday night and headed straight to Lupe for a late dinner.  The weekend was spent lounging at the house and watching football with a trip to Marshalls thrown in for my mom, Addie and I.  My mom helped me get organized for Ad to start school, and it was just the definition of a relaxing weekend with my parents.  Thanks Mom and Dad for coming to visit.  We can't wait to see ya'll at Thanksgiving!

This pic is blurry, but I had to post Addie in the cute outfit her Aunt Britt sent.
