Keith and LaVida Get Hitched

The first weekend in October, my cousin got married at South Padre Island so we loaded up and headed south for the weekend.  We had a great time seeing family, but unfortunately there was Red Tide at the island so we didn't spend much time at the beach.  Every time we were down by the water, we could not quit coughing.  My parents rented a great condo with a huge pool so, we did get to spend a lot of time swimming which the girls loved.  Below are a ton of pictures from our trip.

So sweet.

The kids stayed home from rehearsal dinner, but we decided to get them dressed and take a few pics before heading to dinner.

Love my sweet little family

Cousins!

The whole clan

Our family has a tradition of writing a poem for the couple getting married and reading it at rehearsal dinner.  All the attendees then write a note to the couple that they get to read on their 1 yr anniversary.  My parents wrote the poem for Keith and LaVida.

The happy couple

Meanwhile, the girls were back at the condo snoozin'.

After rehearsal dinner, the girls all got together for a little party to celebrate LaVida.

The weekend of the wedding was sand castle days at the island so we ventured down to see them.  Unfortunately, we were coughing so bad we had to leave about 10 minutes later.  The sand castles really were amazing though.

There was a swim up bar with a tv at the pool so we spent the afternoon swimming/watching football.

We stopped for pool toys

Saturday night was the wedding, and it was a beautiful ceremony.  All the little girl cousins were in the wedding and looked absolutely adorable.  Ad was soooooo proud of her dress.  She kept twirling around saying, "Mommy, look at my beautiful dress!"  She had the best time dancing and playing with her cousins.

Be still my heart

Lila did not want to be contained.  She just wanted to RUN the entire time.
