Balloon Parade

During the summer, Addie's school has various events to make things fun for the kids.  A few weeks ago, they had a mylar balloon parade.  Mom was insistent that Ad needed the best balloon for the parade.  :) Jason volunteered to pick one up on his way home from work, and when he walked in with a monkey bigger than Ad, her eyes lit up, and she was all smiles.  She was SOOO proud of her balloon.  She marched into school with such pride so I'm sure she had a blast at the parade.  When I picked her up from school, she was telling me all about all the balloons her friends had and all about her monkey.  It was so cute.  We had to stop at the grocery store on the way home to get food her birthday party, and of course, the monkey had to join us.  Monkey resided in our living room for several days and provided lots of entertainment.  I really do love Addie's school and the effort they make to ensure they kids are engaged, learning and having a great time.
