Christmas Eve

The entire family came over to my parent's house on Christmas Eve afternoon for family, fun and games.  My mom is the Christmas planner extraordinaire and always makes everything so fun.  The weather was uncharacteristically hot (think almost 90 degrees), but we made the most of it and enjoyed the outdoors.  Our traditional Christmas Eve dinner of chili and tamales was so yummy, and the kids (and adults) had a blast.

Mimi and Papaw always let the grandkids open 1 gift on Christmas Eve (matching Christmas pjs to wear to bed that night).

Ring toss on the antler horns

Charlie and Lila.  He must have the magic touch bc she hardly goes to anyone other than her mama.

Addie got her ring on the antler and won the kids division!

Love our family!

All the kiddos gathered in the living room and waited for Santa to make an appearance.

Lila spotted him right away and had clearly remembered the traumatic picture taking experience from the day before.  haha

Hayes and Santa

Lila HATED Santa

Addie happily sat in his lap to retrieve her gift

Aunt Sherry thinks Santa is pretty good lookin'  :)

Once Santa delivered all of his gifts, my dad took all the kiddos on a hay ride

decorating Christmas cookies to put out for Santa that night

Love these two.  They put so much effort into making the holidays fun for everyone.

Addie left her cookie right by the fireplace to make sure Santa found it.
