In mid July, we were so excited that Cody, Britt and Hayes came for a weekend visit. We had a blast hanging out and just catching up. We took the kiddos to the zoo, swam in the pool, grilled dinner and played at the park after a morning peacock hunt on the golf cart. It was a short visit, but we packed in the fun. Thanks guys for coming to see us. We loved it!

Hayes and Ad loved playing together at the park. I about had a heart attack bc as they ran past the sand pit towards the slides, I spotted a big ole snake in the sand pit. Turns out it was just a grass snake that Cody scared away to the bayou, but still. Mama doesn't like snakes. I was so paranoid and was checking every inch of the playground equipment after that.
