Addie's Birthday Weekend

The weekend of Addie's birthday, Cale and my parents came in town to visit.  It was a busy weekend celebrating our girl, and we all had a great time.  I will let the pictures do the talking.

We made several trips to the pool during the weekend.  The girls have absolutely loved swimming this summer.

Friday evening, we headed to Lupe for dinner.  Addie was more interested in "riding" this horse than doing anything else.

The b-day girl decided to snooze with Uncle Cale through most of the meal since she skipped her nap that day.

Saturday, I took Addie to a birthday party for a friend in her class, and then Jason and I took advantage of free baby-sitting and got to have a date night to celebrate Monica's birthday.  We went to Da Marco's and had a wonderful dinner with Dan and Mon.  Happy 30th Monica!

Sunday morning, my mom set up a little breakfast party to celebrate Addie's actual birthday.  We had pancakes, candles and presents.  It was a fun morning celebrating before Mom, Dad and Cale made the trek back home.

That afternoon, we invited Jackson over to play and swim.  The kids all had a great time in the backyard, and it was a fun afternoon celebrating our girl.

Lila LOVES the swing.  She just smiles and giggles the whole time.

Cody and Britt got Ad a sprinkler for her bday so we got to put it to good use.

Sunday night, we ordered pizza and had cookies and presents from us to round out the birthday.

Ad and I also made Frozen cupcakes to take to her class on Monday so she could celebrate her birthday at school.  She was so cute picking out exactly what Frozen character she wanted to give to each of her friends in her class.  She chose Elsa for herself, of course.

I can't believe it has been 3 years since I became a mom.  I am immensely blessed.
