Addie turned 2 weeks old on August 16th. During her second week, my mom and I took her to her first doctor's appointment when she was 11 days old. She weighed in at 8lbs 11oz and was 20 3/4" long (~85% percentile for both). It was great news that she had well exceeded her birth weight before she was even 2 weeks old. She had to get her heel pricked, but she did really well and hardly made a peep. She got a great report from the doctor which is always reassuring. On Addison's 2 weeks bday, her umbilical cord fell off, and she now has an official belly button which is just too cute. At 2 weeks, she is getting more and more alert. She is napping well for the most part and is still eating every 2-3 hours. Her neck and legs are getting so much stronger. She can pick up her head to look at you and loves to look at any light in a room (the lamp, window, etc). She is still wearing newborn size diapers and mostly newborn size clothes and sleepers. My mom had to leave a few days before Addie turned 2 weeks old. It was so sad to say goodbye. We both shed plenty of tears. So glad my family is coming back to visit in just a few weeks. Happy 2 weeks Addie. We love you baby girl!

Those pants are TOO cute. I have some cheetah ones- she and I could hang out. Ha! Can't believe she is already two weeks old. Hope you're doing okay!
