Last Saturday morning after Monica's b-day dinner, we headed up to the lake to meet up with Jason's parents, Jenn and her bf Jason who were all up at the lake. Jason worked out on the boathouse, and I worked on making pork carnitas and pico de gallo for everyone for dinner. Thanks Kim for the recipe. I have made these twice now and just love them. After dinner, we engaged in an all night game of Monopoly. It turned out to be super competitive and really fun with lots of crafty negotiations going on. I ended up winning sometime in the wee hours of the morning which made me really excited. It was a very low-key time at the lake but good to see family.
