Although this was technically Addie's second Halloween, it was the first year we really got in the spirit of things, dressed her up and had some fun. The church where Ad goes to school hosts a big festival so we decided to join in on the festivities. They had activities for kids of all ages, food trucks that lined the streets and provided a one-stop shop for some Halloween fun. Jason and Deanna met us at Addie's school, and we quickly turned her into the cutest ladybug I have ever seen. I was skeptical that she would keep her costume on for more than 2 minutes, but I was thrilled and completely shocked that she LOVED being dressed up. From the moment we put the costume on her, she was all grins and just thought it was the greatest thing in the world. She loved it so much and had so much fun at the festival that she cried when we took her costume off at the end of the night to go home. haha Below are about 1000 pics from our evening.
Our little ladybug
I knew after our zoo adventure a few weeks ago that she would love the petting zoo, and it didn't disappoint. She got to pet goats, a baby pig, a deer and chased a poor duck all over the pin.
They had an entire room for babies and toddlers with age-appropriate toys and games. Addie loved playing with the balls and climbing through the tunnel.
We ran into Ella (Addie's friend from school) and her parents in the toddler room.
She loved the trampoline outside.
Takin' a break after a long night of running around.
This little ladybug makes my heart melt. I seriously can't get over the preciousness of this pic.
RUNNING through the parking lot. She was a busy busy bug!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
