San Antonio

Since our family will be growing in July and it will be more difficult to get out and about for a bit, Jason and I wanted to do something special with Addie before her baby sister arrives.  We decided on a weekend trip to San Antonio.  Jason had to work on Friday morning so Addie and I had breakfast, finished packing and then headed to the nail salon to get pedicure.  She absolutely loved it.  She sat right beside me in the chair and kicked her little feet in the water while they did my pedicure, and then she got her toe nails painted.  She thought she was so big and kept smiling saying "Addie's pink toes".  Jason got home after lunch, and we loaded up the car and headed to San Antonio.  We stayed at the Hill Country Hyatt, and the resort was so nice and relaxing.  The Rohlings met us for the weekend so we all met up that evening for dinner at the resort then Jason and I took Addie swimming before bed.  Saturday morning, we got up and headed to Sea World.  I thought Addie would like it since she is so in to animals but was a little worried she was a tad on the young side.  She ended up really LOVING it which made it so fun.  The weather was great, and she had a blast seeing all the animals.  We stayed from 10-2 then headed back to the hotel so she could nap.  Jason and Daniel golfed, and Monica and I took Addie and Jackson to the pool after naps.  We all had dinner again that night before turning in for the evening.  We went on a walk and let Addie play outside at the resort Sunday morning before loading back up and heading home.  It was a quick trip, but I so enjoyed the weekend with our little family.
