Our First Home

Jason and I closed on our first home on March 6, 2009. It is a 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath townhouse in Cottage Grove which is North of I-10 right off of TC Jester on the Northwest side of downtown. We looked at alot of houses but fell in love with this one right away. It is still a work in progress, but we are starting to feel settled. Since we bought the house, we have bought a refrigerator, washer/dryer, some furniture, and installed blinds. It will be a slow, steady process of getting things fixed the way we want them, but we have enjoyed working together in the house and making it feel homey so far. I have posted a few pictures below for those of you who have not been able to see it yet. We welcome any and all visitors anytime you are in Houston.

Aloha to all of our friends and family. Jason and I are back from Maui and have decided to join the world of blogging so we can keep ya'll updated on what is going on in our lives. We will be posting pics of the wedding and honeymoon soon, but I thought I would test out the blog with this short post as I am still trying to figure this whole blogging thing out (I am not very internet savvy).
